Sunday 4/27 @ 4:00 Live Sonic Alchemy, The Waldo Theater, Waldoboro, ME

An invitation for a magical Sound Journey!

Join instrument maker and sound worker, Jim Doble, on a large array of Gongs; sound worker and intuitive, Maleine Gargurevich, on Gongs, percussion, and voice; and sound worker and master player, Forest Weston, on an assortment didgeridoos, for an afternoon of diving deep into the potential of sound as a therapeutic force. This experience will feature the largest collection of large gongs ever played on a Maine stage.

We will start our time with a brief introduction to the various instruments and some explanation on how these instruments can positively affect our health. We will then move into a sonic interstellar journey, exploring the wide range of aural possibilities accompanied by incredible astral photography images by Alan Jordan. This will merge into a Sound Immersion, to help transport the listeners on a journey within, where possibilities of vibrant health and personal evolution arise.

We are especially excited to be offering this at The Waldo Theater, as the incredible acoustics there will lend to an especially amazing sonic/optic experience!

Puddle Dock Village Festival

Using the Arts and Humanities in Support of Community Justice and Wellbeing

A month long festival featuring art exhibitions and a wide range of programs exploring themes of community relevance, including:

Addiction and trauma, incarceration and reentry, and practices of wellness and health.

We will be offering an outdoor Sound Bath as part of this on Sunday, July 27, 3:00 -4:30 at Puddledock Village School.

Please bring something to Lay on and a blanket if you like.

Full Moon, Pre-Halloween Spooky Sound Immersion.

The Camden Public Library Amphitheater (Rain Date, Sunday, October 29 6:00pm)

A special, outdoor, nighttime, and eerie sonic experience to celebrate the season, presented by Jim Doble on a wide assortment of large gongs and Forest Weston on didgeridoo.

As the full moon rises over Camden Harbor, we will be bathing the Amphitheater in mystical sound to help transport you on an inner journey.

Think of this as sonic meditation, best experienced in a very relaxed position with closed eyes. Bring something comfy to lay or sit on and plenty of warm cloths/blankets to ward off the chill.

This is a free event with optional donation, which partly benefits the Library.

Amy Robbins- Wilson and Jim Doble are teaming up to give you an extraordinary sonic experience. Amy is an incredibly gifted singer and sound practitioner who will be carrying you on an angelic vocal journey while Jim both grounds the experience and helps carry you deep within yourself using the various large gongs.

We'll start with Sabine giving a brief astrological outlook for the Equinox, then move into gong supported amazing and ethereal vocals of Amy, and on into a deeper gong immersion. then resurface with more vocals and breath with Amy.
